Amudat LAWAL, is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with over 20 years of continuous service in teaching, research, administrative experience and community service. She has served in various capacities, including Deputy Director of the Central Research Laboratories (CRL), Faculty Senate Representative, and Assistant Postgraduate Coordinator. Her research interests cover Synthesis and Structural Elucidation of Coordination Compounds. She has supervised several undergraduate projects and sixteen Master dissertations. She has over 40 journal articles and edited conference proceedings. Prof. Lawal is a Fellow of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON). She is also a member of several professional bodies, including the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Science Association of Nigeria (SAN), and Women in Chemistry.
