Biography

Frederick Teghtegh SAMOH is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, with about 5 years of university teaching, research and administrative experience. He holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degrees from Benue State University and the University of Ilorin in Nigeria respectively. His area of specialty is Organic and Natural Products Chemistry and researches on chemistry relating to Food Security, Preservatives, Waste Management and Conversion, Crop Protection, Food Post Harvest Losses and Control. Mr. Samoh is an established Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) United Kingdom and Chemical Society of Nigeria. He loves creating a conducive learning environment for both students and staff in tertiary institutions as his personal contribution to human development and investment.
