Dr. Mariam Temitope BAKER is a lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin Nigeria. She was the 2022/2023 final year students’ level adviser. Her research interest is in synthetic and natural product organic chemistry especially the processing of cellulosic wastes into useful raw materials that will be beneficial in the Agricultural, pharmaceutical, Paint and Cosmetics industries. She has a PhD degree in Chemistry and has up to fifteen Publications in the area of Organic Chemistry and has been attending national and international conferences in order broaden her horizon in her area of specialization. Currently, she teaches organic chemistry courses at all undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the organic unit of the Department.
