Mojeed Olalekan Bello is a Lecturer I in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with over fifteen years of University teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served the department in different departmental committees and as an academic adviser at various levels. His research interest focuses on utilizing waste resources through green chemistry for various environmental remediation. Dr. Bello has to his credit over fifteen publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects. Dr. Bello has in-depth knowledge of adsorption, degradation and electrochemical sensors of environmental pollutants. His expertise in instrumentation includes Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction Analysis (XRD), Atomic absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), etc. He is one of the recipients of the 2017 World Academy of Science (TWAS) and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Ph.D fellowship.
