Abdulmumeen Amao HAMID is an associate professor (Reader) in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, with about 2 decades of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as the Sub-Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences and faculty representative at the Faculty of Clinical Sciences. His areas of research interest cover Natural Products and Medicinal Chemistry with interest in the isolation of bioactive principles and drug development.
He has demonstrated the ability of a lead researcher with over forty published articles to his credit in peer-reviewed national and international journals, conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has successively supervised several undergraduate research students and seven master’s dissertations.
