Mubarak Oloduowo AMEEN, is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 20 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as Deputy Director Center for Research, Development, and In-House Training (CREDIT), and Technical and Entrepreneurship Center (TEC), Departmental Examination Officer and currently the Postgraduate Coordinator of the Department as well as Senate Representative on the Postgraduate School board. His areas of research interest cover Isolation and Characterization of Natural Products, Food Chemistry, and Biodegradable Energy. He has to his credit over eighty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects and nine Masters dissertations. Prof. Ameen is a Certified GUN-Africa and AfriQAN Accreditor, fellow of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and member of professional bodies within and outside Nigeria such as Society for the Conservation of Phytofuels and Sciences (SCOPAS), NISEB, MSN, RSC, ACS, NAAIP and WARIMA.
