Joshua Ayoola OBALEYE, is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 4 decades of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as Head of Department, Dean of the Faculty, and many other University, Faculty and Departmental committees. His areas of research interest cover Coordination Chemistry and Molecular Sciences. His area of expertise includes Coordination Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Spectroscopy, Kinetics & Mechanisms, Metal Drug Complexes, X-ray Crystallography, and Organometallics. He has to his credit over hundred and fifty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and book chapters. He has successfully supervised more than 50 Masters dissertations and 17 Ph.D. theses with 4 of them already full Professors. Prof. Obaleye is a recipient of many laurels and awards, he is a member and fellow of several national and international professional societies, CSN, NISEB, RSC, ACS, IPAN, etc.
